Dunlop House has a rich history of serving the veteran community in Colonial Heights. We appreciate the sacrifice of all who have proudly served our country and are honored to offer a special monthly rate to new veteran residents and surviving spouses.
New veteran residents and surviving spouses may enjoy a $900 monthly savings—regardless of care level for 6 months. Veterans or surviving spouses who reside at Dunlop House may also be eligible for government Aid and Attendance benefits to help offset the cost of care.

Engaging With Our Veteran Community
We are proud to regularly host cadets from Fort Lee for events and activities at Dunlop House, and every Veterans Day, we are honored to host a program to recognize our resident veterans and local military heroes and their families to show how much we appreciate those who have fought for our freedom.
Other special holidays we celebrate at Dunlop House include Flag Day, the Fourth of July/Independence Day, Patriot Day (held on September 11), and Memorial Day.
