Thank You to Our Volunteers

For more than 20 years, we've been honored to call Colonial Heights our home. Thank you to all the kind individuals who have volunteered their time, talent and resources to brighten our residents' days. If you would like to volunteer with Dunlop House, we'd love to hear from you!

Our volunteers include kids and young adults (middle school, high school, and college students), retirees, church groups, professionals, community service organizations, health care organizations, and more. If you have a spirit for serving others, you could be a volunteer!

Volunteer Opportunities

Individual volunteers can help with activities such as arts and crafts, spiritual and religious services or studies, special events (monthly parties, social events), bingo, games, corn hole, manicures/makeovers, and more, in a one-on-one setting.

Groups can assist with activities such as group bingo, larger social events requiring entertainment or servers for refreshments, or facilitating fun-filled games for residents.

Currently, open volunteer positions include activities assistant, snack cart assistant, reading and music volunteers, and gardeners.
